My son came home from school and told me he was invited to his first pool party. i was excited for him, because it made me remember the first time i was invited to a pool party.
I remembered that when i was invited i had to wear my dad’s old bathing suit and it was really embarrassing. It was over sized, and out of style. i vowed to never do that to my son.
Realizing that we were in a time crunch, i took him over to my computer and we immediately began looking for a cool pair of Swim Short Trunks. The first place i looked was Amazon.com
We looked through probably 10 pages before i heard him yell and point “Dad that one!”.

We discovered that they came in 4 different colors, and 6 different sizes.
He wanted the yellow one’s, in a size 6.
Luckily, they had his size. I ordered them without hesitation, next day delivery.
Fortunately for me they were on sale for $29.99, so i made out like a bandit.
The next day came, and while he was at school the box arrived from Amazon.com, i signed for it and took the package inside.
I didn’t open it, because as a father i know how important it for a little boy to not only receive something new, but to actually open the box and see it.
He came home, and as i showed him the box he told me about how he told all of his friend about his new “cool” swim shorts, and how they were going to want them.
I couldn’t help but agree with him, these were very cool after all.
I let him open the box and take them out for himself. Before i could even see them, he ran into the bathroom and changed into his Ralph Lauren Big Pony Swim Shorts, racing out.
I have to admit they looked good on him, the size was accurate and he said they weren’t to tight.
I was very impressed with both myself, and Ralph Lauren.
He took a bath in them that night, and we set them out to dry.
To my amazement the next morning they were completely dry.
He wore them to school the next day.
