Now he’s skateboarding?
My son is the kind of boy that develops new hobbies every single week. I am the kind of parent that fully supports his new hobbies. I feel that while developing into a young man you have to explore a lot of options in life to figure out what you’re best suited for. He started out collecting stamps, than it was soccer, and recently he started skateboarding.
On the outside these seem like common everyday hobbies that kid’s decide to become interested in. If you really take the time to figure out why your child is choosing these hobbies, you will find out more about them than you ever will by just asking them. Better than just figuring out what they’re interested in, is becoming involved in whatever they decide the flavor of the week is.
Like previously stated, my son recently started skateboarding. We already got him his first skateboard, helmet, and knee pads. This seems like one hobby that might be around for longer than the others so I’m taking it a lot more seriously. He came to me the other day and told me that he loved skateboarding, and that he was getting really good at it.
One thing was holding him back though.
He told me that there were special shoes designed for skateboarders, that helped them with keeping balance, support while riding, and doing tricks. I was not aware of this, I mean I’m the kind of guy that has two pairs of shoes in his closet. One pair for dressing up, and one pair for dressing down.
None the less, i saw that this was important to him so i decided to look further into it. My wife and I (my wife more then I) were frequent visitors to endless.com. They specialize in selling shoes, from multiple brands for very affordable prices.
I decided to look at endless.com with my son in hopes that we could find something to wear for his new hobby. We looked through a few pages of the shoes made for Skateboarding, and to me i couldn’t really tell the difference but he knew what he was looking for.
We saw a brand called Circa, and he said his friends at school had told him they were very reliable and an excellent shoe for a beginner skateboarder.
We found the Circa Men’s Cx205 El Sneaker on Endless.com and it was perfect for his new hobby. We decided to purchase the Black and White one’s in a size 8, a little bigger than what he wears usually so he can grow into them.
I have that much faith that my son is going to continue this hobby, unlike the others he previously started.

This could be an investment not into just his future, but his parents as well.
