Columbia Girls 7-16 Bliss Valley Jacket Review

I care about my daughter so much…

My little daughter needed a new winter jacket, desperately. My wife and I purchased her one last Christmas and after the trips sledding, skiing, and just playing in the snow it looked unwearable. It was very dirty and beat up, it would not be able to be worn for another season.

Last year we got her a Northface jacket, but after seeing the condition that it was in i couldn’t bare buy her another one. I needed something that my daughter could wear to school, and that would keep her warm the entire day.

I decided to purchase a different brand for her, i bought her a Columbia Jacket this year. I’m overall very happy that i decided to not buy Northface, and to buy Columbia. The colors that this jacket comes in are very cool, and any little girl will love it.

  • Bark
  • Conche
  • Heliotrope

My daughter is the typical little girl that loves the color pink. So of course i bought her the conche one, because i knew she would love it solely on the color choice.

The name of the jacket that i choose for her is The Columbia Girls Bliss valley Jacket.

The biggest reason besides how cute the design is, why i choose this jacket for my little girl is because of the material that it’s constructed out of. The material ensures that this Jacket is highly water resistant, insulated with a taffeta lining. It’s the absolute best lining in a Columbia jacket, so my wife and I can rest easy knowing our daughter is very warm, and protected from the wind.

The Columbia Girls Bliss valley Jacket was excellent because of the amount of pockets that were available in it. There were pockets made for specific items in this jacket; they had pockets specifically for goggles, media and of course two hand warmer pockets.

The hood on this Jacket is fully adjustable, so you can make it tight enough to keep the heat in when your daughter puts it on over her head. The jacket also had an adjustable powder skirt, which was good for keeping the jacket at one length all the time.

Best of all unlike the Northface my wife and I bought; the Columbia Girls Bliss Valley Jacket could be machine washed. This is great because i didn’t want to experience the same problem a year from the day i bought this jacket.

This Jacket was within our price range at only $45.00 on amazon.com

We can’t put a price on our little girls safety though.
