My Favorite Carhartt Combination
Sometimes I like to just visit websites and come up with my favorite combination of clothes. I do this every now and then. I recently decided to visit Newyorkworkwear.com and concoct a combination of my favorite Carhartt pieces for an entire outfit of a long and cold day of working outside on the job. I like to plan things ahead not just for myself but for those that also want to look into something like this.
The first thing that I am looking for is a nice durable pair of workers jeans. The pair of jeans that I found and want to discuss further for my perfect outfit is the Carhartt Washed Denim Work Dungaree. These specific pair of jeans caught my attention for a few key reasons.

The Men’s Denim Work Dungaree had all three. They sit at the natural waist and offer a full seat and thigh. The Work Dungaree is built tough, with heavyweight 11.75-ounce, 100% cotton denim. Perfect for the comfort that was necessary in a long work day.
Access to tools couldn’t be easier with multiple tool and utility pockets, plus a hammer loop. The back pockets are reinforced and the jeans are double stitched for that durability I would desperately need.
The leg openings were only 19 inches, and that would be perfect for fitting over my works boots, yet still keeping a remarkable style.

-Second I was looking for a 100% waterproof boot because I wasn’t sure exactly what kind of work I would be doing, or what conditions I would be doing it in. Fortunately the Men’s Steel Toe Work Boot features full grain waterproof leather upper, as well as a waterproof, Dri-lex lining to pull moisture away from the foot.
-Third I was looking for something insulated, that way I could keep the warmth in the entire day. Anybody that has worked outside in the cold, knows that you need an insulated Boot to go throughout the day.
-Fourth I was interested in finding ankle-support. The Carhartt Men’s Steel Toe was 8 inches high for perfect ankle support. With 18 lace eyelets, I will be able to tie my boots very tight in order to stop them from loosening throughout the day.
-Fifth I needed something that was slip resistant. The Men’s Steel Toe had oil, and water slip resistant sole, which was necessary for any on the job work I would be doing. You really can never be too precautious.

User reviews tell me that these are well worth the money, because of how comfortable they are. Not to mention that they are made specifically for Steel toe boots. The fabric is an exceptional cotton blend; 66% combed cotton, 17% acrylic, 15% stretch nylon, and 2% spandex.
Due to the material combination in these Men’s All-Season Steel Toe Blend Socks consist of makes me certain they are going to keep my feet warm and insulated.

To complete my outfit I need a strong, durable, workman’s jacket. This is a key item for long work days outside. Without a great jacket all of my research would be for nothing. I spent a few minutes really looking into the perfect jacket.
The jacket that I decided was perfect for me is the Carhartt Men’s Sandstone Active Jacket (Thermal Lined)

The most important aspect to working outside and killing that severe wind-chill, in my opinion is a thermal lined hood. However, the icing on the cake for this specific jacket is that it is entirely thermal lined. This is really important for a few reasons. The thermal lining on the inside of the Men’s Sandstone Jacket allows for heat to stay inside all day, and wind to stay outside all day. The thermal lining on the hood simply allows for heat to transfer to the wearers head. Very important for long cold days of working outside.
The Men’s Sandstone Jacket is one of Carhartt’s oldest products. That does not mean it’s out of date though. If anything it’s timeless. You never really change a good thing. This is a clear example of that statement. Clearly, it’s had such good reviews and that’s exactly why they still sell it. For long wear, it’s manufactured with rugged 12-ounce 100% cotton sandstone duck. That simply means, it’s something you will be using for a very long time. Definitely a reason it peaked my interests.
This Carhartt Men’s Sandstone Jacket has an essential attribute that I look for in any work jacket. The Sandstone Jacket has two inside pockets, and two deep hand warmer pockets. This is great, because you don’t always have to wear gloves. You can just stick your hands into the hand warmer pockets to warm your hands up.

This specific Jacket also comes in 4 unique colors. They are camel, dark brown, midnight, and moss. In my opinion the reason they choose these specific colors is because they are all dark shades, and they don’t’ show up. I decided on the midnight colored jacket. My reason for this is because it will go well together with my Men’s Washed Denim Work Dungaree.

This is my favorite outfit for so many reasons. As you can already tell I did a lot of research and my conclusions are good for anyone. The most important thing to remember in this blog is that I choose the company Carhartt because I feel that they provide the best for everything I am looking for in a work outfit.

As a person that works construction i really enjoyed this review. All of my workwear for the most part is Carhartt, and i loved what you said about the pants. I actually own these pants, and it’s all true. I ended up getting the jacket you recommended because you clearly know what you’re talking about!
