A weekend with the girls
Last weekend I went out shopping with some girlfriends. We did the whole entire circuit, stopping at all the stores in New York Cities busiest fashion shopping district, SoHo. We did the entire Broadway Street and we stopped at one of my all time favorite stores, Guess.
Guess is a great store for a modern look that can simply accent an already perfect outfit. I am a big fan of this brand.
While in Guess I was looking for some possible additions to my already colorful wardrobe. I found this perfect colorful set of tank tops. They were the Guess Vera Top, and they were so kind to the eyes. The unfortunate thing about shopping at an actual store and not an online retailer like amazon.com is that they sometimes don’t have your size.
This was the case for me on that day; the Guess store didn’t have any smalls left. Not in any of the 4 unique colors they offered:
• Black
• Turquoise
• Orange
• Lavender
I was really drawn to both the Lavender and the Turquoise colors. I was forced to order them off of amazon.com when I got home that night. They were surprisingly cheaper on amazon.com than they were at the store. The guess store had each individual Top at $42.99 and amazon.com had them for $34.50.
Naturally without hesitation I ordered the size, I wanted a small in both of those colors. Two days later they arrived at my door step.
When I put the Lavender one on I was surprised at how kind the color was to my eyes. It really complimented the jeans I was wearing so well. I fell in love with it automatically. It fit so well. The ruffled top was great for the look of my chest, and the material of the top was so soft.
The same information went for the Turquoise top, except it was completely eye catching. It looked truly stunning on me. I was so surprised by how elegant this tank top was. It had an empire waist which helped with making it compliment me around the waist.
In all honesty I’m glad I bought these two tank tops, but especially glad I got to save money by going to amazon.com.
I think I’m going to order the orange and black colors next, so I can have the entire set.
I recommend anyone getting one of these.
