Carhartt J133 Men’s Extremes Active Jacket (Arctic Quilt Lined) Review

My first experience with Carhartt

Recently I shopped around for a new Carhartt Jacket for the harsh winters. Living in New York City one of the most important items of clothing to own is a warm, durable, comfortable jacket.

The wind can get brutal here, and it’s very important to find a reliable Jacket that is just not going to let you down.

Before i get ahead of myself, the brand that a friend of mine had told me was popular and reliable was Carhartt. He told me that it was a brand that he preferred, and one that had always fulfilled it’s commitment to his needs. I guess i never noticed it before, but he usually had something Carhartt on.

I decided to take his advice and look more into this brand Carhartt. I quickly found that it had been around a very long time, and it was quoted as the most durable work clothing in all of the world. This meant that i could probably find what i was so desperately looking for.

I did find it!

I spent around a half-hour browsing one of New York’s biggest Carhartt e-commerce websites newyorkworkwear.com, and i came across the Men’s Extreme Active Jacket with Arctic Quilt Lining.

The look of this jacket was unique to any i had seen in the past. Automatically i was very attracted to it.

The Arctic Quilt lining in the Men’s Extreme Jacket was found throughout the entire Jacket, including the hood. This would ensure staying warm no matter how harsh the future winter was going to be.

So that attribute alone almost sold me.

The Men’s Extreme Active Jacket was made to repel water with it’s 1000-denier, cordura nylon. This was important because anyone that knows New York winters, is aware that there is a lot of snowfall. When snow melts, it turns into water.

For extra warmth though, the Men’s Extreme Active Jacket is equipped with two deep inside pockets, as well as two hand warmer pockets. That way i wouldn’t have to wear gloves everywhere i went.

newyorkworkwear.com sold me on the Extreme Active Jacket, so i decided to purchase it and see for myself.

Unfortunately this jacket only comes in the color black, so i had to get it in black. I personally wanted it in the color black anyways, so i could wear it everyday.

It’s just nice to have options.

They made up for the lack of color with the generous amount of sizes they provided.

Sizes begin at Small and end at a massive 2XL-Tall.

I ordered the large, but like i said before i just like availability in internet purchases.

I ordered the Men’s Extreme Active Jacket for only $84.99 on newyorkworkwear.com

I feel that i’m not only going to be extremely warm with this jacket, but extremely stylish.

They don’t call it the Extreme Active Jacket for nothing.

This is the warmest Carhartt Jacket i have ever owned.

The lining is perfect for those cold days out working, and the jacket is durable enough to take the hits us workers face everyday.

I wear this jacket casually as well, because of how good it looks.
