I love to read.

I have tons, and tons of books scattered throughout my entire apartment accompanied by many book shelves. I really enjoy the way that books make an apartment look. When people come over they take notice of how many books that I have and make the assumption that I’m very learned. They’re not wrong, but maybe some of those books are out for show.

The hardest thing about having so many books is that they sometimes fall onto each other which can be very messy, and unsafe. There is nothing more painful than when a few of your heaviest periodicals come crashing down on top of you. So, recently i started looking for a solution besides packing some of my books up and putting them away.

I found these really stylish Bookends on amazon.com that fit the decor of my apartment excellently. Bookends are made to keep your stack of books close to each other, and make it virtually impossible for them to fall on you when you walk past them. I was worried about acquiring some bookends but after i saw this specific set i was in love.

The Kikkerland Men Pushing Bookend’s are amazing, they look so stylish and they really get the job done. The design of the bookends was created by Chris Collicott, and he truly did a splendid job when he designed them. These men will get the job done they look tough. They are holding two stone slabs that you can place against your books to ensure that they stay in place at all times.

When Collicott designed the Kikkerland Men Pushing Bookend his muse was the Mechanical Age. You can really tell what he means by that when you really look at this wonderful item.

I actually ordered two sets of these, to try them out. I wanted to see how well they worked before i ordered more because i do have a lot of books but I try to be financially conservative.

After trying these out though, I’ve already ordered more to be sent to my apartment within the next few days. These are perfect for my home, and I’m even going to take a set into the office.
