Paul Bunyan was one of the great fathers of fashion. I bet you didn’t know that? Honestly, i had no idea that he was either until recently. When you look at this years collection on the runways, most of all of the material used to make the garments has some relation to flannel.
Flannel is a great material, it’s made to be worn alone because it’s so thick and comfortable. It’s one of the warmest materials on the planet. So, it’s no wonder that when you look at this years winter collection both the males and females are wearing flannel. Better than just wearing flannel, they are looking very good and staying very warm.
There’s a company that I’ve recently discovered from Europe called Reell. They have been around more than 10 years, and are very popular all over both western and eastern Europe. I also found that they realized a long time ago that Paul Bunyan was an inspiration for making clothing. They make an exceptional Lumberjack Flannel Shirt, in a wide variety of colors:
The Reell brand is unknown to most people that live in the United States, but i feel that it’s time people know about this company. They started out as a company for skateboarders, they have their own skate team and everything. They’ve come a very long way since than though.
They’ve become one of Europe’s leading, and most popular brand.
In my opinion the reason that this has happened is because of products like the Men’s Reell Lumberjack Shirt. They put 100% into their design, style, and comfort of all of their products. They try to stay ahead of what’s hot, so when you buy their stuff you fit right into the fashion criteria for that season.
The Men’s Reell Lumberjack Shirt is very soft, and can be worn comfortably over a plain t-shirt. The fabric, is thin so you can wear this during the summer, unlike most other flannels that are produced today.
Most flannels that I’ve seen are so thick that they can only be worn during very cold days, this is what flannels were designed for. Reell just modified this idea, creating a 4 seasons garment.
The colors of this flannel are so eye-catching, you will turn heads as you walk down the street. This isn’t your plain ordinary flannel, this is hip and cool.
I found this brand by accident while shopping in SoHo, in New York City. I wasn’t entirely surprised to be honest, i stumble into cool shops all the time while wandering the streets of New York. The store that i found the Men’s Reell Lumberjack Shirt in is called Iceberg Army Navy, and they had it on sale for only $35.00.
I bought the purple and the red one.
