V26 Carhartt Sandstone Rugged Vest (Sherpa Lined) Review
One way to become a model
The other day I was shopping around for something comfortable to wear around every day. I was looking for something other than your typical T-Shirt, or Sweatshirt. The item I was looking for was a nice classic, vest that could be worn with any outfit. Over top of any article of clothing, all year round.
This year fashion is devout to wearing a vest with anything, no matter what occasion. Vests are no longer just for suits, tuxedos, and working. On the runway this year a lot of male and female models accompanied their already stunning outfits with a vest. The vest looked so attractive on all of them, that I knew this was a trend that was going to last a long time.
Even while walking to work I noticed a plethora of individuals wearing vests over their button-up, and t-shirts. This was a perfect accessory, and accented their outfits very well. I grew envious, of how good these people looked and that’s when I decided to look for a vest of my own.
I shopped around for a long time, not physically, I hate visiting stores. I looked online for a cool, vest that I could accessorize my outfit with. After much deliberation and consideration I found myself looking more into the Carhartt Vests. They had so many to offer, but which one was right for me and my situation.
The Vest that I decided on was the V26 Carhartt Sandstone Rugged Vest with Sherpa Lining. This vest was absolutely perfect for any outfit that I would ever wear because it was made in earth tone colors:
• Camel
• Dark Brown
• Black
• Light Olive
The colors were absolutely perfect for a dark pair of jeans over a nice t-shirt, or a pair of dress pants with a nice button-up. This is why choosing a color was exceptionally difficult for me. I did decide on the Light Olive color though, because green looks the best on me.
The Vest its self was constructed of 12-ounce 100% cotton sandstone duck with a Sherpa lining. This not only gave it a classic, rugged look, but also ensured that it could be worn during the cold winter days for extra warmth.
The Carhartt logo was sewn on the left front pocket, and it matched the vest very well. I’m usually worried about logos showing on my clothing but this was an exception. There was a double brass zipper that accented the garment very nicely.
It didn’t take me long to order this, I found it on newyorkworkwear.com for only $49.99
I now looked as good, no wait better than those models.
