Recently i decided to take my first trip outside of the United States, to visit my girlfriends family in the Philippines. Recent studies that i read informed me that the Philippines is an impoverished area in the world, with a high crime rate. I needed a game plan.

I was not about to put all of my important documents/items, like currency, passports and identification in something visible. I wanted to avoid looking like i didn’t belong the best i could, by hiding these items.

I had heard good things about the Victorinox Deluxe Concealed Neck Pouch, so i decided to try it out for myself. I ordered it for a cheap $20.00 on Amazon.com, with next day shipping. I was determined to do as much research as possible before heading out to the Philippines.

The moment i saw the Victorinox Concealed Neck Pouch I fell in love with it. It was just big enough to fit all of the key items i needed to bring, yet small enough to conceal from any possible threat.

I placed the lanyard around my neck, feeling how soft and comfortable it was. The wallet it’s self rested against my chest, completely unnoticeable to the naked eye.

It was so comfortable to, i sometimes even forgot i was wearing it.

Taking it off was just as easy as putting it on. I opened the Velcro strap and it was really loud. I especially liked this feature because it would ensure that if someone tried to open it while i was sleeping i would surely hear them and be able to react to the situation in a timely manner.

All of my documents, currency, and even passport fit in the Victorinox Neck Pouch with absolute ease. They were safe and secure inside and required a little force to completely remove and expose.

Emptying my change jar, i placed about 4 dollars in coins in the zipper compartment. It housed my coins, so well, and while wearing it on my chest you couldn’t really hear the change jingling around.

I haven’t actually left for the Philippines yet, but i feel 100% secure, and safe wearing my Victorinox around. I actually ditched my wallet, and now use my Concealed Neck Pouch for all daily activity.

I fully recommend grabbing one of these, for either trips, or just daily routine.
