WJ176 Women’s Soft Shell Jacket Review

The perfect surprise

My husband is a labor worker, he works for one of the labor unions and he’s always out doing something involving labor. While working outside so much he only wears Carhartt. It’s his all time favorite brand, and he says it lasts him longer than any other brand out there. He’s tried other brands, but he said Carhartt has never disappointed him, they give him the comfort and durability he desperately needs.

This is what drove him to purchase me a Carhartt item. I was very reluctant at first because I don’t work outside or do labor. My profession is Nurse, and I didn’t see how I would need something like Carhartt.

He insisted though that I just try it out and if I didn’t like it he would just return it to the store he bought it at. The Jacket that he purchased me was the Women’s Carhartt Soft Shell Jacket, at first I was taken aback by how stylish it looked.

WJ176 Women's Soft Shell Jacket

All of his Carhartt looked like rugged work wear, this jacket actually looked like something I would be interested in and wear on a daily basis.

There were things about this Jacket that I fell in love with right away. First and foremost it was really light, and made of 100% nylon. My husband explained to me that even though it was light it was still very durable.

Because the Jacket was made of nylon, it was water repellent. The jacket I was using before was made of wool, and the snow always soaked into the fabric and when I would take it off it would take the entire day to dry. This problem would be eliminated with the Women’s Soft Shell Jacket Carhartt makes.

The Jacket is lined with fleece, making it not just more comfortable but a lot warmer. My husband explained to me that this was perfect for wearing during those really cold days, when the snow’s falling hard. This had been the case just about every day the week I received the jacket.

So far I was on board with this surprise that my husband sprung on me. He showed me the reinforced pockets, and boy was there a lot of them. He showed me the hand warmer pocket and as I put my hand into it I could feel how warm it was inside of there.

He said he got this Jacket for 3 times less than I usually spend on a winter Jacket, he found it on newyorkworkwear.com for only $109.99

I was honestly proud of him, and I had no complaints.
